Sofia Hassan

Sofia Hassan, Features Editor

Sofia Hassan is a second-year student from New Castle, Pennsylvania. She plans to major in English Creative Writing and minor in Middle East and North African Studies. This is her second year on staff, having served as a news editor in the spring 2022 semester. In addition to her obligations for the newspaper, Sofia is an ASG senator for the Class of 2025 and (at the time of writing) will soon be having her own WARC radio show on Sunday nights. She also attends meetings for Overkill, the campus literary magazine, as well as for the Allegheny Review, the college’s international literary journal. When she isn’t experimenting with fonts for headlines and trying to make Features look as fun as possible, she’s probably listening to music, walking around campus, or daydreaming about studying abroad.
