Nesset pleads guilty to all charges

Former Allegheny English Professor Kirk Nesset faces at least five years in federal prison following his guilty plea in Erie federal court on April 6.

Charged with possession, distribution and receipt of child pornography, Nesset had originally entered a plea of not guilty on Oct. 15, 2014.

Nesset is free on an unsecured $10,000 bond while wearing an electronic monitor.

The award-winning writer resigned from Allegheny on Oct. 2, 2014.
