Seth Brewster, who works at the Meadville’s Council of the Arts, played a blend of violin and guitar at Grounds For Change last night in an attempt to stir up interest in the local music scene from Allegheny musicians.
“I’d love to collaborate with the guys and girls that go to school up here and the people that live in Meadville. But I feel like there’s a kind of separation [between Meadville and Allegheny], Brewster said.
Brewster mentioned that he is working to bring musicians to play at the Market House’s Gardner Theater as well as the Academy Theater.
“I want to reinvigorate the music scene in Meadville,” he said.
