Gators beat Tomcats after snowy delay
The Allegheny Men’s team took their talents on the road Saturday evening to Thiel College in Greenville, PA.The game was postponed an hour due to weather conditions.
The team arrived at Beeghly Gymnasium to face the Tomcats on Nov. 22. The Gators played hard and maintained the lead during the majority of the game. The Tomcats came back fighting in the second half, closing the gap and making it a win by two points with just seconds left. Evan Zabriski, ’17, was called to the foul line to put Allegheny further ahead of Thiel. The Gators emerged as victors with a final score of 63-59. On the bus ride home the players talked about the game, homework, and even began to quietly sing along with music.
