The Astronomy Club hosts its annual “Star Crossed Lovers” event in the Carr Hall planetarium on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017. Prior to the event, guests filled out a survey which club board members used to pair people up at random. Guests had a chance to win a telescope. At the event, James Lombardi, associate professor of physics, explained the basics of when and where certain constellations could be seen in the night sky.
