Hey Gators,
If you haven’t picked up a paper copy of The Campus this week to see the print version of What’s Happening (but of course you have, why wouldn’t you?), there are a lot of cool things going on this weekend as far as music and entertainment go.
Tonight in the CC Lobby starting at 8 p.m., you can catch ABC’s “The Awareness” Fashion Show, which will play heavily on the theme of red as a means of raising awareness about AIDS. Special scarves will be sold at the event to raise money for local organizations as well, so it’ll be a great way to have fun for a cause.

Then at 10 p.m., there’s a free performance by Christian rock band Compelled sponsored by the Religious Life Council and Late Night as part of this week’s Faith Week celebration. The concert will even include free refreshments, like hot chocolate, so you can hear great music and warm up from today’s bitter cold weather all at once.
Tomorrow, Faith Week ends with the Progressive Dinner, a unique invent that serves as a multi-course tour of Religious Life on campus, kicking off at 5:30 p.m. at the Queers ‘n’ Allies house (382 E. College St.) and making its way to the Religious Life House next to Arter Hall on campus.

At 10 p.m. in Grounds for Change, up-and-coming indie band Ball of Flame Shoot Fire will perform in a concert sponsored by campusradio station WARC 90.3 FM. The band hails from Pittsburgh originally, and even counts former Allegheny student Tim Good as its guitarist, but has recently relocated to New York City and released their second album, “Jokeland.” To hear what you’re in for, check out some sample tunes online at http://www.myspace.com/bofsf.
And on Sunday, if you’re not too busy cramming last-minute readings and assignments after procrastinating all weekend, be sure to check out this week’s installment of the student-run Sunday Night Cinema in Quigley 101 at 7 p.m. The series features a different classic, indie or foreign film each week followed by a casual and lively discussion.
