    Hey Kritika,

We only print about 25 issues a year, and with 1,000 copies of each, that comes to about 25,000 copies for The Campus. I took this data from the Slate article and tailored it for us:

“Manufacturing 1 ton of newsprint, which is enough to create approximately 280,000 broadsheet pages, requires the contents of 12 mature trees.”

We print approximately 100,000 broadsheet pages every year. We’re really not a big operation, so we don’t have as much environmental impact as you’d think–our pages are fully recyclable, including the ink, as well!
